So now that it's settling down a bit I thought I'd present a perspective for discussion related to the current direction of 0.0 politics which I have been thinking about these last few months. No, I'm not going to start in with the usual purse swinging that's been going on in here for the last 5 months but I might ask "Is it true that 84%................" at the end of this so stay tuned...
Here goes... We as a Community now stand at the crossroads in EVE history where BoB has been dismantled and all whom ever had an old axe to grind got to stand over the grave, cast in the chip or tissue carried for so long, and wipe the slate clean. In the end BoB had waged war against too many thus producing far more enemies than allies for which they have now paid the ultimate price. With that said and done, I had one question as I headed out to NOL to take a look around......did they leave anything of note behind?....besides Delve....
As I wandered the dark halls of the NOL-M9 station I came across the ransacked office of SirMolle and strolled in to take a look around. The place was trashed and smelled like scotch and cigars, files were strewn about and yet a picture of him with trademark pink hat and cigar still hung neatly on the wall untouched as if it was kryptonite to some....
When I turned to walk out I noticed a thick file on the floor labeled "GoonSwarm - 2006" wrapped by a large rubber-band. Not really in any rush I decided to picked it up take a seat in Molle's old chair and have myself a read. To my surprise there was a few good smokes and a half pint left in the top draw so I fired one up, took a good pull of scotch, and opened the file......

There were pages upon pages of quotes all spraying the same mantra so I put the file on the desk and leaned back for a bit as the smoke swirled upwards toward the light above. Taking another drink I wrote down a few questions which I pose to you all below...
* Do you think BoB saw early on what GoonSwarms plan was for EVE and therefore tried to rid the game of them?
* Do the Alliances whom have now settled their old scores with BoB understand that GoonSwarm is a cancer within EVE and nothing to keep it in check now?
* Is this the vision we have for EVE? To rally behind and have the face of EVE be "an entire alliance of griefers and forum trolls" whose only goal is to make others time in-game miserable?
* Is the tipping point close at hand where the EVE community will finally rally together with the single focus of taking back OUR game?
At this point my concentration was broken as SouljahBoy came screaming into the room thrashing wildly about yelling "we live to post pubby tears like yours on our forums, we sh*t ourselves laughing when we see the cascade failure of
homoerotic gatherings such as yours!!".......he then slipped on some files and knocked himself out...
There has only ever been one consistent message Goons have been sending to us and laughing the whole time..itÆs the only consistent message we receive from Goons since they joined our game. Everything else they say changes with the situation they are in, yet their mantra has stayed since the beginning......
Just sayin......Do we "Get Goons" now?

As I leaned over to grab another cigar from the draw to chain light, I fliped open my laptop to check my EVEmail and
flip a skill... To my surprise there were quite a few responses to the questions I had posed....... 32 after the count.
I share with you now a few excerpts from these responses:

Khorian your not being trolled and I looked up your Corp history which btw was and is pretty impressive. Unfortunately the advice you provide regarding how not to get f*cked over is exactly what puts a smile on a Goons face and scream "We got another one!"....
I logged in today and had many more evemails all saying the same thing......."We just reset them as well"..
For a lot of Corporations it's going to be a subtle adjustment in their standing list but a big statement to corp members
that their CEO is serious about their direction, goals, and time spent online together.
For Alliances........this will be a loud statement of their commitment to each other and to the prosperity of the EVE
Community well into the future.

finally at the brink of implosion and their hand waivers above the "+ Standings" button.........that they log off instead......

Kayl I see you will be the first to step up and try to change EVE's perception of Goons. Why would you want to do
this? You make it clear everyday that the our game is a joke to you and that your only here to make everyone else
misserable. I have taken the time now to consolodate your message for the Community to clearly see and now you are
scared that the Goon fog is lifting to expose the depth of your hatred for us....
The number of positive EVEmails I have recived to date have been staggering compared to what I see on the last 3
pages supporting you and Goons. The EVE Community sees you as a cancer which can be wiped out with an adjustment to
standings which will continue to tighten the noose around your hate for us. Goons will stop logging in and move on to
another MMO to infests....

Ahh Kayl as predicted you pull the "BoB"card in the attempt to deflect from the facts being stacked against Goons.
What you seem to have forgotten is BoB is gone and you cannot hide behind them anymore. Simple fact is that you are
now standing amongst a larger community that only tolerated you because they disliked BoB more. Goons are now the
equivalent of a giant pinata of 6,000 targets that can feed the EVE killboards for months to come with a simple
adjustment to standings.
I am still getting EVEmails from corps and Alliances that are just adjusting GoonSwarm standings when they have a
moment and then going back to their usual business. Be careful flying through those old NRDS sections of space.....
I actually got a good chuckle at your attempt to now scramble and portray Goons as the "Alliance that makes EVE
interesting"......(See quote above). Next post you will be calling Goons "A bunch of fun guys out for a jolly good
time...." Goons have always been a very concentrated hate that has been abusing the EVE community for a very long
time while hiding behind BoB crimes of the past.
As I was reading your last sentence I looked back at my NOL local screen and saw the Goon mantra had come alive
again while while you try to cover it up......

Kayl, yet again you try to cover the tracks of other Goons while you deflect the facts. Funny thing here is that the
"mantra" in that chat can be found in almost every Goon post in local or forums daily so for you to try and cover it up
with "it was done for me" is actually pretty lame..
And then again you clutch tight the bones of BoB past to hide behind with the "its not going to be Ken" and the "I'm not
alone" cries about a dead and gone "threat" that Goons existence has stood upon for years. Goons are alone now......all
6,000 of you, and now you are saying that if the EVE community wants to get rid of Goons they are to just "wait for
you to get bored and atrophy"? So if we want you to leave we should just let Goons sh*t on our game but leave you
alone until you get bored with us as a toy one day and walk away? I think you make my case more clear each time
you post....
Call me what you would like but you know that Goons becoming a standard negative setting throughout EVE is starting and time will tell how tight the noose gets for you.

Wow I go away for a day and this thread turns into a Goonturd CTA.. ..must be the pressure you are all feeling hu? And
Kayl you must be exhausted hovering over the keys waiting for me to respond to you each time.... ...sorry to keep you in
suspense :) If it means anything to you..... I think they deployed their "top bee" to take on this thread and I will have
to say..... you did a poor job.....sry. 
Well all my job is done here and thanks to all who participated. I will now leave it in the capable hands of the EVE
Community to decide your fate and hopefully I have provided the spark which starts the brush fire across EVE killing
every Goon in its path :) Either way I was just happy to consolidate for quick reference what sacks of s*** you Goons
really are and if Kayl is right, and we do need to wait for you all to get bored and fat, just do us all a favor and die on
the toilet........just sayin

So I have been checking my EVEmails these past few days and there seems to be a lot more people starting to ôGet
Goonsö which I find to be pretty refreshing.
I thought I would share with you all some excerpts:

Well August 1st is fast approaching so I guess we will see what the EVE community thinks about Goons. As we can see on CAOD already, there are a number of resets going on so its starting to come around pretty well.

2) Actions of Goons have produced more press than ever for EVE.....eluding to Goons responsible for 1)
3) Goons are killing PvP of EVE replacing it with backstabbing and sh*t talking anyone who is not a Goon.
4) Goons make the game more interesting.......for other Goons. Certainly you did not mean the anyone else?
So lets say your right on 1 & 2 and this massive wave of memberships are because of the actions of Goons and the out-of
-game articles about them. All these articles are about how Goons fu*ked over a large number of people by metagaming.
So then the next logical question is who is reading these articles and then heading to their computers to join EVE?
Welp......people like Goons.
So with the detail provided we can get a pretty clear picture as to where Goons are taking us. The current face of EVE
to the public is Goons and their actions. Their actions attract others like them to the game who just want to do similar
sh*tty things to people trying to have a good time. Thanks Goons for making the game more interesting for us......

What I would like to remind the EVE Community of is that when someone joins Goons it's because they are first a
member of an out of game community of griefers. They then join EVE, join Goons and, as we can all see by checking any
Goon emp history, they rarely ever leave Goons. The Alliance grows in this way each day with the goal being to make
your time online as miserable as possible and laughing about the wreckage they leave behind.

As we have seen over the last few weeks many Alliances are doing total resets and taking the opportunity to start fresh
building new relationships and strengthening old ones. While you do this keep in mind that the water is getting hot and
Goons are relying on you not to notice until its too late. PL/AAA/NC/TRI/Atlas/XX and all the other large
Alliances out there planning you futures, ask yourself if where Goons are taking EVE now is what you envisioned when you headed to your computer years ago to join EVE...

So at this point I see that a lot of resets have already happened and I am still getting EVEmails off and on from corps who are setting Goons negative permanently. This is a good start and I was glad to assist with this effort.
Progress that I have noted to date is the following:
òGoons are getting ganked more often in Jita and low sec areas
òGoons are showing up less and less outside Delve
òGoons are logging in less and less
òGoons are crying less and less in the Forums
òGoons that are active seem lost with little to no directionà..but this might just be normal.
òChat in SHC and other forums are confirming that Goons are being dropped from the shoes of many Alliances
EVE is realizing what a blight Goons are and the cleansing has begun. The only ones left at this point still carrying the weight of Goons bloated carcass are Morsus Mihi and Razor. Will this be coming to and end as well?

Snot, good job with the thread. ItÆs been a great read seeing Goons getting all worked up over someone pointing out their sad reason for existence. Looking forward to many more of your posts.

While shutting the office door something caught my eye behind itààMolleÆs pink hat. I picked it up and held it under the light just above the door. So with August 1st having arrived I have to say that I am very happy with the current list of Alliances and Corps who
have stepped up and reset Goonturds so far. My tally at this point sits at a mix of 187 Alliances and Corporations who
have EVEmailed me over the last few weeks and the EVEmails keep coming! I thank you all for taking a stand in support
of your game and the EVE Community and look forward to this list growing throughout the summer.
To all the soft little Goonturds that sit all sad now in their bowls......cheer up cuz this is just the start, it's going to take a little while to get you all flushed so stay calm and try not to get mad....

I will have to admit that I am getting a pretty good chuckle out of the Goonie spin cycle/damage control so far... With
now over 187 Alliances and Corporations (6 more added today) who have permanently set Goons negative, I think we are
well on our way to some day soon looking upon the EVE map like an x-ray and seeing that our cancer is in remission. It is
refreshing to see that a few things have obviously happened since this thread started:
1) Goons don't post as much smack anymore since they are trying very hard to change EVEs current perception of them as a cancer.
2) Goons are now taking EVE very seriously and getting very emotional during most posts that they make in CAOD and in local.
3) Goons are logging in a lot less now because of 1 & 2........ not fun anymore...
Welp I thought I would throw out a few reminders here for the those that might be just joining us:

When someone joins Goons it's because they are first a member of an out of game community of griefers. They then join
EVE, join Goons and, as we can all see by checking any Goon emp history, they rarely ever leave Goons. The Alliance
grows in this way each day with the goal being to make your time online as miserable as possible and laughing about the
wreckage they leave behind.

So I read through the hectic responses so far and it seems we have some confused and frustrated Goons on the loose watching the sky to see if itÆs fallingà.. ôGoal postsö, ôWarö and ôDays of Reckoningö dates spill forth and you all sit on your hands in wonderà.that made me laugh. Fear not, the August 1st date was a measuring point, I know how you all like them, to gather what responses I had to date. From where I stand it looks great and the fact that a majority of the responses I am getting are stating that they are setting Goons negative vs. resetting them is excellent since it seems Goons were not on many Alliance/Corp radars until now I guess.

As far as the ôresetsö go it seems that, although I have gotten a bunch, those will begin to flow when the ôRainbow of Loveö NAP train breaks up and that wonÆt have anything to do with me.
ItÆs funny to see that things are so exciting out there for Goons these days that they need to create fake drama (WI in F2) to keep their pilots interested these days..
